Can We Please Stop Having Democratic Party Presidential Candidates Run To The Center? [1]

I did not notice Donald Trump and J. D. Vance running to the center in the 2004 campaign after the Republican Convention was over. Their decision not to run to the center did not seem to hurt them. On the other hand, we had Kamala Harris bragging about how happy she would have been to use her glock to kill anyone who tried to break into her house.

I am very, very far to the left when it comes to the political spectrum in the United States. I do not expect any Democratic Presidential Candidate in my lifetime to come close to representing all of my leftist views. But it would be nice if, before I die, I could see a Democratic Party Candidate who did not even bother trying to reach out even a tiny bit to Archie Bunker.

I suppose that in my lifetime, George McGovern came the closest to representing my views, but once he was nominated, even he tried to move to the center.

I donated money to Kamala Harris and I proudly voted for Kamala Harris. I thought and I still think that Kamala Harris would have made a very good President. But damn it, I wish she had not tried to run to the center as soon as the convention was over.
