The Democratic Party 2.0, part 2 [1]

This part addresses the Foundation for all Future Platforms. These build upon the Principles listed previously, but also provide the basis for all specific issue positions (within any given platform) which should be linkable back to it.

Proposed Foundational Philosophy

Fairness - All issue positions must adhere to the premise that Fairness is actionable. All Americans deserve to operate on a level playing field - we are not a nation of the haves and have nots, we are all equal under the law and in each other's eyes. The Government should always be accountable to those it serves and it must also serve all of us, not just those who contribute to political campaigns.

Freedom - The United States is the most important experiment ever undertaken in the history of Mankind. That experiment posited that the men and women of this country could live free and determine our own fates without the need for Princes and Kings to rule over us. Our Republic must be preserved and our Constitution defended. We must preserve our Rights rather than allowing the Government or other interests take them away for their own selfish interests.

Opportunity - With Freedom and Fairness we can then pave the way for Economic Security and the opportunity for all of us to do better than our parents did. The working men and women deserve support for they in turn will become the engine of America's success - this is not merely the stuff of Dreams, we've done it before and we can do it again.
