DJT Stock Ends Down for Day [1]

Just a quick note on DJT stock because I see a lot of GOP and doomers saying that the DJT stock surge meant there was a lot of confidence by “very smart people” that Trump would win.

It’s true that DJT stock was up over 15% at one point today. However, DJT stock ended DOWN 1% for the day, and has continued to go down after hours!

I’m not one who thinks things about the market are very predictive of elections — the majority of people in the market generally care about money over politics. But if you’re dooming about DJT stock you can breathe easier, and if you see people claiming victory about it, you can gleefully point out the ending price to them.

Update (5:50pm ET): It’s now up $.34 after hours (but only up $.04 from the open). I’m not going to update this continuously, but I wanted to 1) update since I mentioned it being down after hours, and 2) reinforce that this is within natural after-hours fluctuation and means virtually nothing.
