A shoutout to the Democratic Party of Wisconsin. [1]

As a resident of Chicago, I want to give a shoutout to Ben Wilker and the Democratic Party of Wisconsin. I have worked on campaigns in six different states, and I am amazed by the turnout operation Wisconsin Dems had. Milwaukee ended up having so many volunteers on Saturday that they ran out of turfs. They asked folks from Chicago to go up to Oshkosh on Saturday. So about 40 of us made the trip up there, and the Winnebago County Dems were very happy to have the extra bodies. I got to meet the County party chair. I was very impressed by her. She told me last year they turned the Supreme Court race from +4 Republican to +9 Democratic. They have a good enough operation to have a permanent campaign office to be staffed by a few people year-round.
