CNN broadcast continues video clip bias in favor of Trump the evening before the election [1]

Tonight, during the 9pm hour of CNN with Kaitlan Collins, CNN again favored Trump in the number of video clips shown, at an almost 2 to 1 ratio compared to clips of Harris.

The first ten or so minutes, the number of clips of each were on an even 1 to 1 pace; for every video clip of Trump shown, a video clip of Harris was shown. This continued right up until about 9:14, where a split screen showed video clips of both Trump and Harris.

This would be the last clip of Harris show during the show; the last forty-five minutes of the show did not show any clips of Harris.

Three additional clips of Trump were shown; the hour ended with the ratio of 7 video clips of Trump to 4 video clips of Harris.

Part of the reason for the disparity is that almost half of the show was spent talking about the Trump campaign’s closing efforts. There was over twice as much time spent talking about the Trump campaign as there was the Harris campaign in the bottom half of the show.

While the ratio is improved over last Monday’s 4 to 1 ratio of clips of Trump versus Harris, its still way off balance for the closing moments before election day; that a major network is still routinely favoring Trump in video clips at nearly a 2 to 1 ratio compared to clips of his opponent, and the discussion of the campaigns during this hour broadcast followed that ratio as well.
