I last made a Diary in 2013. No rec list anymore? Good to be back. Anyway, Trump's fleeing. [1]

Especially after his microphone fellatio performance yesterday (dementia-induced disinhibition?), everything is pointing to a historic trump loss. He will not stand for being sentenced to prison, as seems probable later this November for his 34 felony crimes.

If you strip down a lot of the interior from his 757 so there are just enough seats for trump and the flight crew, and max weight the airplane on fuel alone, you can probably get 6000 miles out of it. This would mean that if he left from NYC, that puts him within range of Moscow, the Middle East, most of South America and Africa. Would Moscow even accept such a loser who can no longer give Putin what he wants?

I really wonder what safeguards exist to keep this from happening. Maybe it’d be hard to find a flight crew to cooperate? There are plenty of MAGA pilots out there. Are cops of whatever jurisdiction the airplane is parked in prepared to deny boarding to anyone?

Or maybe if he could find a suicidal crew, he’ll just fly it out into the middle of the South Pacific and ditch it.
