Musings for Friday - Four Days and Counting. How Are You Feeling? [1]

Seriously. Are you tense? And tied up in knots worried about how things are going to turn out? Or are you chilled and relaxed, trusting the American people?

We can see the orange clown is freaking out. His outrageous action betray any comments that say he thinks he’s winning.

Last night as the kids were coming by we had more than a dozen positive comments about our Harris flag that I had hung along the railing of our front porch after our yard sign was stolen. Now granted, I live in a very progressive neighborhood, but they all felt a need to let us know where they stood.



It wasn’t the number of woman/mothers that surprised me. It was the number of men/fathers. Fathers of little girls and fathers of little boys.

My candy distributor was a skeleton dressed as Indiana Bones (with a sign designating him as such, just to make sure people got it). I was expecting to get comments about Indy Bones, and we did. With one boy declaring that Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom (we had changed the Temple of Doom to Temple of Booo) was his favorite movie of the series. And we did get comments, but the Harris flag/banner received more.

We had a few parents that skipped our house and maybe one that may have grumbled where someone heard him, but I can’t be sure because I didn’t hear the first comment, only the response which I may have misinterpreted.

Chill and relax.
