Fortune Telling Trump's MSG Rally [1] ['This Content Is Not Subject To Review Daily Kos Staff Prior To Publication.'] Date: 2024-10-28 I first wrote about Trump's Madison Square Garden rally weeks ago when I first heard about it. I remembered a Rachel Maddow show where she talked about Nazi sympathizers in the US before WWII, and specifically about the American Bund having a big rally at Madison Square Garden in 1939, six and a half month's before Hitler invaded Poland. I made the connection with Trump's rally and the similarities before it happened. I wasn't wrong in my prediction. This was Trump's most vile, racist, incendiary and dangerous gathering yet by the ex-president. I watched some of Trump on Ayman's show on MSNBC, before he would cut away to do a fact check on Trump. I didn't see the speakers before Trump. Hard to believe it, but reading the reports and seeing the clips, those people found a way to outdo Trump in verbal manure. This morning, however, the headline on the New York Post website is 'INCITEMENT', followed by "'Shameful' MSNBC blasted for splicing Nazi rally clips into coverage of Trump's MSG rally." Actually, no one is blasting MSNBC but the Post, and other right wing outlets repeating the Post claim pretty much word for word with no backing. Remember that the Post is one of Rupert Murdoch's outlets like Fox News. The only "blast" in the Post article is one X poster and Elon Musk, originally from South Africa, previously the home of apartheid and a good number of Nazi spies and sympathizers. Am I saying that Trump and Musk are Nazi's? Everything they say and do underscores that theory. I saw a still of George C. Scott from Patton on the jumbotron at the Garden. A clip of the movie was played. At the Nazi rally in 1939, there was a huge floor to ceiling poster of George Washington behind the stage. As if both of these figures would support their cause. A complete desecration of their memory. One opening act before Trump called Puerto Rico a floating pile of garbage, then joked about carving watermelons with a Black friend for Halloween. Latinos were over-procreating, the racial trope about white displacement. I don't want to quote what was really said because it is too disgusting. Latinos voting for Trump are like Jews voting for Hitler. One speaker said of Harris, "her pimp handlers will destroy our country." Then gave a middle finger to show what he thought of "elites." Followed by, "We need to slaughter these other people." Tucker Carlson called Harris a "Samoan Malaysian Low IQ". Hulk Hogan said "I don't see no stinking Nazis in here," apparently knowing ahead of time that the comparison would be made. My God, that means Hulk Hogan is smarter than Trump. Projection was still in vogue at the rally as one speaker described Harris as being the Antichrist and the devil. Trump has been described as that since 2015 with lots of examples and evidence backing the point. Sid Rosenberg brought up his problem of not knowing how to properly swear by bringing up Hillary Clinton and saying, "What a sick son of a b****." Only Sid could get Hillary's gender wrong. He wasn't much better on migrants. "You got homeless and veterans, Americans, Americans... sleeping in their own feces on a bench in Central Park, but the f****** illegals, they get what they want, don't they?" Elon Musk started with saying he was dark gothic MAGA and that he would trim two trillion dollars from the US budget. I'm sure that didn't mean any of his government contracts. He wants his government department of efficiency to get out of your pocketbook and off your back. Would be nice if he talked about keeping the government out of your bedroom and your doctor's office. I'm skipping JD Vance because he didn't say anything new or important, much like himself, not important. We just have to remember that if and when Trump dies in office, who would become President. The best thing that Trump could say about anybody was, "We're running against something far bigger than Joe or Kamala and far more powerful than them, which is a massive, vicious radical-left machine that runs today's Democrat party. They're just vessels." The last instance of people being called vessels I could find is in the Bible. It's a good thing, being a vessel for God. But to Trump, it's part of the "enemy within." So much for being a beacon of religiosity. Trump said he will use the Alien Enemies Act of 1798 to deport immigrants. One little problem. It can only be used for people from a country at war with the US. Last time it was used was in World War II against Japanese, Germans and Italians. That didn't really work out well then, either. We are seeing something new this time as a result of Trump's railing at mail-in ballots and ballot drop off boxes. Now there are reports of drop off boxes being set on fire destroying ballots. This is following reports by the Department of Homeland Security saying that there were social media posts recommending drop off boxes to be destroyed. All thanks to Trump's stupidity we are seeing votes actually being cancelled. Talk about election interference? Republicans are falling all over themselves to do damage control, trying to distance themselves from Trump's rally. Even Trump's campaign is disavowing what the speakers before Trump said. However they aren't correcting anything Trump himself said, and Trump didn't criticize any of what the speakers said before him. He had hours to think about it before his own slot. Even Sen. Rick Scott tried to avoid being tied to the rally, especially the Puerto Rico slur. "This joke bombed for a reason. It's not funny and it's not true." Sunny Hostin, a Puerto Rican, said on The View, after reeling off Puerto Rican populations in various states, "Trash has been collecting since 2016, and that's you, Donald Trump. My fellow Puerto Ricans, trash collection day is Nov. 5th, 2024."
