The Constitution Must Be Saved [1] ['This Content Is Not Subject To Review Daily Kos Staff Prior To Publication.'] Date: 2024-10-27 The most basic human belief is that we need to work together to help all to have a better life. Since mankind has invented ways to communicate, to read and write, we have been able to share this more easily, which makes education a basic right and need for all people. Freedom does not have an I, us, me. Freedom can only exist if all people can believe in freedom for each and every one. It is what each and every true American believes in and is most proud of. It is one thing that will be lost if people try to take your vote or your government or the best constitution ever away. The government is not perfect and has not lived up to the ideals written into the Constitution. But that constitution gives us the right to make its ideals come into being. If one person or one religion would come into power unconstitutionally, we the individuals would be lost, and our ability to improve our lives and live much as we want, as long as this does not bring harm to others. and our ability to improve the lives of all Americans, and to not be divided by skin color or belief—all of this would be lost as well. As November 5th, 2024 approaches, in fact just a little over two weeks away, people for the most part think it is just a normal year, with the simple and normal choice between poor choice Democrats and terrible choice Republicans, but the actual choice is between MAGA, who think they’re the Republican Party, or their people do (anyone’s guess is as good as mine), and freedom. The only for sure thing is that they (MAGA) have no idea what freedom is or any idea of the rights of individuals, that all people, whatever color or sex, have the right to guide their own lives as long as they are not interfering with the rights of others. People should remember that the Republican Party has no actual honest Republicans running for office. The candidates (only the major candidates) are running for rights that pretty much only involve themselves, which is why the wish to rewrite the Constitution and limit the rights of all of the U.S.A. people. It makes me sad each passing day that there is a group of alleged American people who would change our rights and ruin our Constitution and Bill of Rights and our ability to keep our Constitution a living document through our right to amendment. The authors knew that change is needed as life changes and as time passes, and they allowed for changes to be voted on by the people. If we lose the Constitution as our basis, we also lose the ability for our government to grow with time to keep serving all of the people. It grieves me a great deal that the Republican Party should pass away because of hate and jealousy within their ranks, and because of Christians who believe Christ wasn’t tough enough for them. They have stopped thinking about complex issues and only think of what you and I should do and how we should act. This unfortunately has left only MAGA to speak for them and only Democrats who value what the USA stands for, what our country stands for. MAGA only stands for MAGA, and if you listen to them you could figure why they’re against education or anything that would help anyone but themselves.
