Kitchen Table Kibitzing: Thursday, 10/24 [1]

This will be a brief post. I am in day 3 of Covid and not operating on all cylinders. Have no idea where I got ill; only possibility is the gym and I wasn’t really near anyone there.

Because of my medications, I was unable to get Paxlovid; instead, they ordered another antiviral for me which they say is not as effective.

So far, I’ve been fortunate to have help with dog walks but worried about what I’ll do tomorrow and moving forward. I’m hoping it will be a mild case, with day 3 being the worst day and I’ll be able to zip take her around the hood for a few minutes.

The odd thing is that I did go to the movies for the first time since 2020 to see The Apprentice, but there were only a handful of. people there, sitting quite far away from us. (don’t bother seeing the movie, it was absolutely horrible!)

Anyway, I’m heading back to the couch to rest. I’ll check in later.
