There’s no Ukraine Invasion Day 974 tonight. Our annieli is on time-out. Cmae broke the news this afternoon. There’s no substitute for her nightly editions. Lithuania invests in Ukrainian drones production following Denmark's example

Lithuania will provide 10 million euros for the production of the Palianytsia drone missile. The investment will follow the example of the Danish model, i.e., through direct financing of the Ukrainian manufacturer, according to Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine for European Integration Serhii Boev. Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov said that the cost of one Palianytsia drone is less than $1 million, making it a relatively inexpensive tool in the current warfare environment.

The Palianytsia was first used on Ukraine’s 33rd anniversary of its independence.

Biden administration to announce significant sanctions for aiding Russia’s war against Ukraine

No details were provided, just that the sanctions will be significant. Additionally,

the US is "on track to provide" Ukraine with: hundreds of additional air defense interceptors;

dozens of tactical air defense systems;

additional artillery;

significant quantities of ammunition;

hundreds of armored personnel carriers and infantry fighting vehicles;

thousands of additional armored vehicles, "all of which will help keep Ukraine effective on the battlefield." on October 23, President Biden announced that the US would provide a loan of $20 billion from the $50 billion pledged by the G7 to Ukraine in June. (bold added) "The other $30 billion in loans will come from a combination of our G7 partners, including the European Union, the United Kingdom, Canada, and Japan"

Not directly related to Ukraine, but this is saber rattling of a higher caliber.
