He’s gone. However: VOTING FOR EVER-CRAZIER TRUMP COULD WELL MEAN YOU ARE ACTUALLY VOTING, (MAYBE PRETTY SOON), FOR PETER THIEL’S ACOLYTE JD VANCE, FOR PROJECT 2025 AND FOR THE OLIGARCHS. Trump’s behavior is deteriorating so quickly that... “In May, Dr. John Gartner — who leads the organization Duty to Warn (a coalition of mental health experts warning of Trump's diminishing mental faculties) — pointed out several ways Trump is rapidly aging that can be seen in his speeches. "Typical of dementia patients, he repeats himself and overuses superlatives and filler words," Gartner told attorney Jay Kuo in an interview for his Substack newsletter. "Based on his current accelerating rate of decline, it seems very unlikely that Trump could see out a second term without falling off the cliff and becoming totally incapacitated." So, speculation here: Was JD Vance’s surprise VP appointment designed to help Trump implement Project 2025, or was the deeper, much more sinister intent to have Vance suddenly in charge of the US Government in a dementia-driven coup? Trump is already deteriorating.” “It’s conceivable that if Trump were in dire shape, he might consider stepping aside and handing the reins to Vance — no doubt with an agreement that President Vance would pardon Trump in the federal cases he faces. But the cases moving through state courts in New York and Georgia — not subject to a presidential pardon — would still hang over Trump, so it’s also conceivable he would refuse to abdicate no matter how incapacitated he became. That’s unthinkable, and so is a truncated Trump presidency that would give us a President Vance. Having TFG “in office” actually would be worse than an overt power grab.
