Demagogue Donald Loves Madman Adolf [1] ['This Content Is Not Subject To Review Daily Kos Staff Prior To Publication.'] Date: 2024-10-23 Demagogue/Dictator Donald–His Love of Mad Adolf and His Nazi Generals Should Make Us All “Sick as hell” October 23, 2024 Yes, we are now in the height of Campaign 2024. And just two weeks before Election Day, Demagogue/Dictator Donald has shown us, if we don’t already know, that he is a complete psycho whose “hero” is, get this, madman Adolf Hitler. That’s right, Adolf Hitler, one of the most evil people in world history, the dictator who cold-bloodedly murdered 6,000,000 million Jews in the Holocaust as well as numerous Polish and other Slavic Catholics, Roma and anyone else whom he deemed “unfit” to live in his sicko view. And remember, that to stop madman Adolf, more than 141,000 GIs fell in N. Africa, Italy, Normandy, the Bulge, and in Germany itself. And am I making this up? No way! Trump’s love for Adolf was confirmed not by Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, or Nancy Pelosi. Donald’s former chief of staff, retired Marine general John Kelly, who worked with him closely from 2017-2019, stated on October 22, 2024 that Trump fit “into the definition of fascist” and that he also wanted the “kind of generals Hitler had” who totally deferred to him. Kelly, folks, if any of you still don’t “get” it, is shouting from the top of his lungs that should Donald win election on November 5, 2024, he would exercise power in line with his “hero” Adolf, because he doesn’t understand the Constitution or the values upon which the nation was built. Kelly said that Donald finds it a “new concept” that the top officials in the U.S. government have to have loyalty to the U.S. Constitution. A “new concept?” “New concept/ old concept,” IMHO, Donald could care less what the U.S. government and the Constitution it is governed by stands for. Kelly, like most of us, was shocked that Trump made this Adolf-loving comment. He, initially, couldn’t believe it and asked him if Donald meant the loyalty that Bismarck’s generals showed during the 1870-1871 Franco-Prussian War or the Kaiser’s WWI generals. Of course, history-deficient Donald had never heard of Bismarck, the “Iron Chancellor” who unified Germany in 1871 after defeating France in the Franco-Prussian War. Kelly then asked Trump, “Surely you can’t mean Hitler’s generals.” Trump told a shocked Kelly, “Yeah, yeah, he meant Hitler’s generals.” And as for loyalty to Hitler? After the failed July, 1944 plot to kill him by his top officers, one of several failed plots against him, Hitler had many of these generals killed by strangling them with piano wire and making Rommel commit suicide. Another one of Hitler’s opponents, I believe, died on his way to a concentration camp (cnn.com, Bradner & Sullivan, 10/23/24). Kelly additionally told the NY Times that Donald “certainly prefers the dictator approach to government.” Why should any one of us be surprised by these remarks by psycho-Nazi/loving Donald? To quote the late Maya Angelou, “When someone shows you who they are, believe them the first time.” And Donald has repeatedly shown us with his numerous previous comments and four nightmarish years in the Oval Office just who he is and how he plans to govern should he win again. Remember, he told his MAGA-adoring crowds, “I am your retribution.” Believe him “big time.” When Donald talks about “the enemy within” being more dangerous than Russia or China and using the U.S. military on political opponents, believe him. These words from him are not exaggerations or just “jokes” as many right-wingers ridiculously argue they are. Straight-talking Democratic VP nominee Tim Walz said it all about Donald’s Nazi-loving comments. He stated at a rally in swing state Wisconsin that Trump’s comments about Hitler’s generals “makes me sick as hell.” Walz, who served in the U.S. Army National Guard and knows all about our civilian control of the military, aptly stated that Trump’s Hitler comments indicate that “the guardrails are gone.Trump is descending into madness.” Exactly. Last week, Democratic presidential nominee Kamala Harris told Fox News that “this (the U.S.) is a democracy. And in a democracy, the president of the United States…should be willing to handle criticism without saying he would lock people up for doing it (cnn.com, Bradner & Sullivan).” Kelly recently told the NY Times that Trump is “certainly an authoritarian and admires people who are dictators. So he definitely falls into the general definition of a fascist, for sure.” Kelly also noted that Donald “never accepted the fact that he wasn’t the most powerful man in the world who had the ability to do anything he wanted, anytime he wanted.” Trump wants to believe, according to Kelly, that just like in his business world, he could tell people to do things and they would do it, and not care too much if what he told them to do was legal (cnn.com, Bradner & Sullivan). Mr. Fascist-loving Donald, it doesn’t work that way in the U.S. Trump’s “You’re Fired” tagline on “The Apprentice” does not constitute the standard in our federal, state, or local governments. Again, the only way to stop Nazi-wannabe Trump and his friends like “Black” Nazi N. Carolinian Mark Robinson is to play by our American rules. In early voting and on November 5, 2024 Election Day, we must all vote in droves plus. Our democracy depends upon it.Anyone who admires the likes of Adolf Hitler and his gang of cut throats must be barred from taking office in our country, as the members of the WWII Greatest Generation would tell us from their graves.
