GOTV Open Thread & Happenings October 20 – Plan Your Week [1]

These posts are for sharing experiences as we get out the vote. Learn what others are seeing on the ground or hearing on the phone as they canvas, phone bank, talk to neighbors, argue with that one uncle who insists the Arnold Palmer dick size discussion was a brilliant strategy, etc.

After a good day for me yesterday and hearing some stories from others about their productive GOTV work, we head into another week with tight polls and volunteers needed.

The user davidkc has an important reminder that others have mentioned about following up with PA voters on ballot curing: YOU can help PA voters fix their rejected ballots - we need every vote!

Make Your Plan

This can’t be stressed enough – volunteers are needed everywhere. Find an event you can join and if you’re near a swing state, make a plan to head over the border if you’re able.

I mention this in every one of these but I hope that sharing these links and anecdotes encourages people to get involved. If you’ve never done it before, I know it might seem a little intimidating but give it a try. You’ll enjoy it!
