No, it’s not Freaky Friday, or even a regular Friday, but Saturday. However, Madam Mayor, GoodNewsRoundup, is just too busy today, so you’re stuck again with me. As we were together just yesterday, today we’re doing something different. Examples culled by MeidasTouch, mostly from TikTok, with people saying who they are supporting and why, as well as collections of endorsements. These anecdotes — that people wanted to announce to the world — serve as antidotes to some of the doom and gloom that many are pushing. They let you know that we are not alone. I wrote an earlier edition, but I timed it to come out at just the wrong moment, and so it got few eyeballs. In the meantime, more videos have dropped. Also, remember, lots and lots of people have already voted, and many more are D than R, and many more are female than male, and there are super high return rates from D areas. People are building that blue wall. Below you’ll find a poll about voting deeds and plans. Anyway, enjoy these anecdotes and endorsements, and then, do what you can to get out the vote. The facial expressions of a woman as tRump claims to be smarter than everyone, except when he wants to know nothing (Project 2025, indictments, etc) A report of a canvasser and how much enthusiasm there is for Harris & Walz in Las Vegas A report of how local Ds are organizing in a rural, ruby red county in Texas and how enthused they are A video of how a tRump/Vance does not belong in the recycling bin, but the trash How someone put a Harris Walz sign on their lawn, and then, how the next day, the nextdoor neighbors (whom they do not know) did the same thing A young Florida woman encouraging other Floridians to vote (and offering to help those) and also reporting on the honks and thumbs’-up the Ds were getting in Sarasota How a still-registered-as-a-Republican told a tRump canvasser how she is voting for Harris This guy talking about a path to getting 100 million votes for Harris — talking about the surge in voter registrations.
