GOTV Open Thread & Happenings October 16 – Good Past 48 Hours Edition [1]

These posts are for sharing experiences as we volunteer to get out the vote. Learn what others are seeing on the ground or hearing on the phone as they canvas, phone bank, talk to neighbors, argue with that one uncle who loves when Trump talks at a heavily staged all-women Fox News event, etc. What’s happening in your neck of the woods? If you have any good links, I’ll add them to the diary.

I hope that sharing these links and anecdotes encourages people to get involved. If you’ve never phone-banked or door-knocked before, I know it might be a little intimidating but give it a try. You’ll enjoy it!

We’ve had some good news the past 48 hours for the Harris/Walz campaign, but I’m still looking around for GOTV news. That said, some updates are trickling in…
