Kitchen Table Kibitzing is a community series for those who wish to share part of the evening around a virtual kitchen table with kossacks who aren’t throwing pies at one another. So bring your stories, recipes, pics, music, and interesting videos, as well as links to diaries or news stories that you think this community would appreciate. Or just drop by and tell us about your weather. Newcomers may notice that many who post diaries and comments in this series already know one another to some degree, but we welcome guests at our kitchen table, and hope to make some new friends as well.

Was expecting to hear more news regarding Helene…worried this is not no news is good news. The little to come out of NC and TN is not encouraging.

Mostly been very mellow around here. But word is it will be warming up soon...with increased wind...just in time for peak fire season.

Here are some shots from the last couple weeks…

We did have some weather stuff blow thru...but were just on the edge of a system that mostly effected So. California.

And lots of fog...to feed the trees. We like to sleep with the sliding glass door open. One night it was so thick there was fog in the bedroom...smelled so good.

Here is a shot looking up some redwoods with the rising sun coming up from below.

Coastal fog drifting up the valley at sunset.

Mountains blocking the clouds trying to come over during golden hour.

Little burgers with fig jam, goat cheese, grilled onions and arugula...so good.
