The JD Vance Trump Oppo Dossier Has Been Published Online [1] ['This Content Is Not Subject To Review Daily Kos Staff Prior To Publication.'] Date: 2024-09-26 The JD Vance Trump oppo research dossier that the media has thus far refused to publish has now been published by Ken Klippenstein. Ken was immediately banned from Shxtter by so-called free speech absolutist Elon Musk. The dossier is downloadable at the link above. I scanned it briefly. It seems to have the personal info like addresses and such blacked out. I didn’t see any arrests or other “personal” scandals that we don’t already know about (seems team Trump didn’t flag the photos of JD in drag, though admittedly I haven’t read through all 200+ pages so far). In terms of the ethics of reviewing the material, since it was apparently hacked due to the Trump campaign’s jr. varsity level security (scary to think what his new team of sycophants and rejects would do if let into the White House)… everyone should remember that this is a document prepared by Trump’s team. If it contains illegal info, the authorities should have a long talk with Trump’s team. It looks like the vast majority of it was gathered from publicly available sources, news articles, and obscure online posts. Almost all of it is stuff that I’m sure the Dems already have, if their own oppo research teams are even halfway competent. The interesting thing for the public though is to see what Trump’s team thought was problematic and to learn the things that the Dems must already know. Ie, we now are allowed to know what the two parties already know, in a reasonably summarized format. And that’s useful in terms of making civic decisions like voting and making sure no secrets are being kept from the public unnecessarily by either party. The thing that struck me is that JD Vance really hates Donald Trump. I think I caught that he didn’t vote in 2000. He of course wrote in for someone in 2016. The dossier is a gold mine of things team Walz could point to in order to prove that Vance is on the record saying he really doesn’t believe in pretty much anything Trump has done and he’s admitted time and time again that Democrats are probably better for the working class than Republicans. I’ll leave it up to my fellow nerds to really mine the dossier as I’ve had a long day. Maybe I’ll take a closer look later on. In the meantime, please feel free. PS, I normally don’t download PDFs from blogs or links, but I took a risk on this one and it seemed to work out OK without any obvious viruses or etc. I was not familiar with Klippenstein but his wikipedia page is linked above. Here’s a snippet: UPDATE: Page 141: It seems Vance wrote a blog entry under the name JD Hamel on some website called The Hillbilly Elite that criticized Republicans and Democrats for not slashing Social Security and Medicare. Recommendation for Tim Walz: “Mr Hamel over here admitted on an obscure blog that he wanted to slash Social Security and Medicare. Just like Mark Robinson in North Carolina, he assumed nobody would ever find out.” Page 154: screen grab of a now deleted Shxtter post by JD saying “The anti-whiteness movement, mainstreamed by American universities and corporations, has blood on its hands.” Recommendation for Tim Walz: “What is the so-called anti-whiteness movement you’ve complained about JD? Please proceed.” Page 164: At a conference, Vance apparently called for aggressive federal action to benefit “our people” (meaning white people). Recommendation for Tim Walz: “One huge difference between me and JD Vance is that when he said “our people” at a private conservative gathering, he was talking about white people. When me and VP Harris say “our people,” we’re talking about Americans.” Page 248: Vance in 2016, during a very common lapse in self-awareness (and of course before he became famous for being Mr Immigrants eat cats): “The Trump people are certainly more racist than the average white professional… Donald Trump is changing the way people think about other groups of people in a very negative way.” (Hmm, based on that last part, maybe he is pretty self aware after all). Recommendation for Tim Walz: “In 2016, JD Vance said Donald Trump’s people were more racist than your average white professional and that Trump was changing the way people think about other groups in a very negative way. Based on JD’s racist lies about immigrants eating cats, I think he’s proven his own statement is 100% correct… about himself.” [END] --- [1] Url: https://www.dailykos.com/stories/2024/9/26/2273192/-The-JD-Vance-Trump-Oppo-Dossier-Has-Been-Published-Online?pm_campaign=front_page&pm_source=trending&pm_medium=web Published and (C) by Daily Kos Content appears here under this condition or license: Site content may be used for any purpose without permission unless otherwise specified. via Magical.Fish Gopher News Feeds: gopher://magical.fish/1/feeds/news/dailykos/
