Fran Drescher endorses "The Kammy" with animated video parody of the theme from her hit TV sitcom [1]

It’s no surprise that actress Fran Drescher has endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris for president. After all, as president of the SAG-AFTRA labor union, the sitcom star led last year’s successful actors’ strike against Hollywood studios.

But when it came time to endorse Harris, Drescher did it with all the humor, style and flair of her TV character Fran FIne.

So Harris posted her endorsement of Harris on TikTok with an animated video set to the theme of “The Nanny,” her popular sitcom which ran from 1993-99 on CBS.

With a smile, she introduced the video by saying: I’m Fran Drescher and I approve this message.”

Broadway and cabaret stars, Ann Hampton Callaway and her sister Liz Callaway. teamed up to do the updated election parody of the sitcom’s theme song “The Nanny Named Fran.”

Ann Hampton Callaway composed and performed the iconic TV theme song, with her sister singing backup vocals.

The sisters reprised their roles for the election parody. Liz Callaway shared the video on her Facebook page over the weekend with the message:
