I have been modeling elections for decades now. Just for my own amusement. Which is a good thing since my success rate is worse than chance.

I assume there are many similar predictors, pundits, and prognosticators here on DailyKos. So I thought it might be fun to find out what you all predict the outcome of the election to be once all the votes are counted. In a series of diaries I’m going to run a poll for each aspect of the election. As well as anonymously in the poll you can tell us in the diary what you expect to happen. While tonight’s poll is only about the popular vote for President you can predict any aspect of the election you like.

After the election I will compare these polls to the actual outcome of the election. We can then see how we did as a community. Where possible I will identify the person or persons who got closest to the actual result in, President popular vote, President Electoral College, Senate, and House of Representatives in the comment threads of these diaries.

Tonights poll is about the lead, if any, you expect Vice-President Kamala Harris will have in the popular vote.
