Going forward for Springfield Ohio [1]

Looking at this from the perspective of a community organizer. The GOP is pushing the Haitians of Springfield, and the whole town for that matter, into the victim role. How can we help them apply the kind of community principles De Tocqueville described, to take charge of their own destiny despite the endless lies? we need to define the scope of the problem at the community level…..semi-random thoughts here.

1) the number of dogs and cats that got eaten is between zero and ____. The GOP can’t seem to find evidence that it happened. I wouldn’t be surprised if they waited a week then sent Steven Miller on a false flag mission to kidnap some dogs for the purpose of proving more dogs have disappeared. idea: start an emergency program of putting a chip with a geo-tracker into every dog and cat so if this happens, the location can be determined.

2) reports are that the employers like the Haitians because of their work ethic. Has anybody assembled a list of the top ten employers of Haitians in Springfield along with a side-by-side of the numbers they employ?

3) has anybody set up a go fund me for any Haitian-run community organizations?

4) JV Vance says he’s been to Springfield “many times.” surely there would be records of each such trip — it’s not every day that a US Senator takes a tour. Can anybody there assemble a list of those visits? and reconstruct what was discussed?

5) where is the congressman for Ohio — 08? he has disappeared.

6) it seems as though the businesses in town all worked with the Chamber of Commerce to encourage Haitians to go there…. is that true? is there records of somebody from Springfield inviting Haitians/

7) some of the reports interviewed leaders of some community groups that serve Haitian residents, and also gave the names of churches. Is there a list of such community groups somewhere? what we can we do to support these groups as they get more organized to counter the threats being made by the GOP?

8) the figure of 300,000 Haitians was mentioned somewhere; its the total number of Haitians in the state of Ohio as a whole. Are there other parallel towns in similar straits that haven’t make the news yet?

I am sure that more questions will come to me.
