So we read of a new PAC Hailey Voters 4 Harris. The claim is there are more than 4 million of them and they don't like Trump. Question is who will they vote for and where do they live. I decided to look at Texas.

In the Republican primary in Texas there were 400,000 of them That’s a big number. In 2020 Trump won Texas 5.89 million to 5.26 million. Suppose 400,000 of those 2020 Republicans don’t vote for Trump. That takes him down to 5.49 million. Suppose half of them instead vote for Harris. That puts her up to 5.46 million—starting to look close.

Personally I think all of them will vote for her. They took the trouble to go out and vote in a primary they knew she couldn’t win. They really, really don’t like the Donald.



If Kamala wins Texas’ 40 electoral votes Trump is toast. Same logic applies to North Carolina which was much closer in 2020 than Texas.
