Putin is/was kgb he believed in the empire and thinks it's fall was catastrophic. His plan included sleeper agents recruited by honeypots and financing of businesses and individuals in financial trouble . 2013 xi takes control of china and is brought in. China is a communist country they still believe in taking over the world eventually and see this as a furthering the economic plan they were already implementing, also he sees a chance to take Taiwan cut off Japan's and ROK's trade routes and control the south and east china sea and dominate the whole first island chain . What putin outlines is a plan to start to militarily taking back the empire starting with Ukraine . He starts in Crimea and is emboldened when the west screams but sits on its hands. 2016 he hits the jackpot and helps a man who has been taking Russian money since 2006 becomes POTUS . 2022 the US has a politically divided government,has seen a violent disorderly transfer of power and has a chance of going in two very different directions in their next elections . The russians think they see a chance and invade Ukraine . It's a mistake bigger than Afghanistan. But now they're trapped , politically putin can't back down and it would mean the end of his dream so he doubled down hoping to still somehow take Ukraine and go on to the Baltics . Xi in the meantime sits back and expands and modernizes his pla with the stated intention of being able to invade Taiwan by 2027. Does any of this sound logical? What do you think?
