It’s easy to throw stones after you see the result, hindsight being 20:20 and all that. Harder to know what to do beforehand, and especially to commit your name to it.

Put your opinions on the record while everyone is still uncertain what will happen. If you were Vice President Harris’ debate advisor, how would you recommend she deal with the other guy’s behaviors and antics? What should her tone be? Should she wear higher heels to more equalize height? What should she do or say if he stalks her on stage? What should she do if he’s mumbling when his mike’s off? What if he gives a nonsense f’d up answer like the one on child care? Calls her comrade? Mispronounces her name? Rambles? Lies?

Which things that he might say should she have direct canned responses to: the last election, the maybe impending govt shutdown, the sabotaged border bill, Joe Biden’s age, Project 2025, cat ladies, sexual assault, abortion referendums in Florida and elsewhere, Russia, Israel & Gaza situation, and so on?

What specific situations would you recommend she be prepared for, and with what reactions and responses? Specific, actionable recommendations.
