Hillary Clinton DID break a 'glass ceiling', and made this campaign possible! She led the way. [1]

The news coverage of this campaign has made a certain impression on me,

and that is that Hillary Clinton may have "broken the glass ceiling" in 2016

while having failed to actually be elected…

With the pundits and talking heads, there is very little talk

about how Harris would be the "first woman president"--

it seems to be little more than an 'after-thought'—

because Hillary Clinton 'normalized' a woman as the presidential nominee of a party...

(and she did in fact receive the most votes!)

I had some fears that after the 2016 electoral college loss,

that it would be a long time before we had another female presidential nominee--

(and I must confess, in a normal nomination process, I would have been predisposed

to favor a male candidate-- just for the fear of losing if we nominated a woman!)

However, that ship sailed when President Biden withdrew,

and quickly endorsed VP Kamala Harris!

and the nearly instant coalescing of the Democratic party

around VP Harris is something I would never have anticipated,

(since nothing like it has ever been seen before),

but now I am very happy with the results thus far!

Our party is ON FIRE,

and we are going to DO THIS!!!!!

I think it is only possible now, because of what Hillary Clinton did in 2016...

She led the way.

(Never-mind how much better off the country would have been,

if she had actually been elected)

THANK YOU, HILLARY!

(And thank you President Biden, whose swift endorsement propelled VP Kamala Harris to the presidential nomination-— and thus completely halted and killed off any “mini-primary” which the pundits were panting for, but which would have split our party and guaranteed our loss in the presidential election!!!)

With Vice President Kamala Harris as our presidential nominee, and the excitement, especially among younger voters which it has generated, we have achieved our ‘best case scenario’ going into this general election!

WE WON’T GO BACK!!!

ROEVEMBER!!!!!!!!
