Pavel Durov has been arrested, because Telegram is a wretched hive of scum and villainy.

Big Picture:

Russia, via Wagner, has made a real mess of the former French holdings in sub-Saharan Africa.

Russia is no longer capable of supporting Armenia, which is pinned between NATO member Turkey and Azerbijan. The French thought making a new friend in the region would be a nice way to put some bounds on future Russian misconduct.

Durov was arrested after leaving Azerbijan and landing in France. Speculation: Armenian intel tipped off the French about this, and maybe even had something to do with the flight’s routing.

Dmitry Simes and Scott Ritter, both Russian agents, got raided by the FBI, which I covered in Russian Moles In The U.S.

Tulsi Gabbard, also a Russian agent, is on a TSA terrorism watch list. This infuriated Rand Paul … also a Russian agent.

And just as soon as Biden passed the baton to Harris, Ukraine ran wild in Kursk. I think Russia is starting to understand the meaning of the phrase “awakened a sleeping giant, and filled him with a terrible resolve”.
