It’s been a minute or two since Kamala Harris and Team Democracy publicized their plans for moving our country forward. Among her promises was a “Day One” push to build more housing and eliminate price gouging. Great stuff if it can be accomplished, particularly in contrast with the Team Crowd Size promise to be a Dictator on Day One.

But the part that really astonishes me is the feral stupidity of the only man who makes America look worse than Donald Dump (or whatever his name is, thanks Joe!) and that is his VP selection. JD Vance’s take on Kamala’s brave plans?

Day one for Kamala Harris was three and a half years ago, and everything that she's done has made the affordability problem worse.

Everything she’s done? This is the purest example of political insanity. The Vice President of the United States has almost no power outside of being the tie-breaker in the Senate. Can you name a single significant thing that Mike Pence did until the moment he castrated his boss? Vance goes on to blame Harris for everything bad (in Vance’s view) in the last three years, including things I consider to be triumphs. No blame for the GOP controlled congress, no blame for the horrifically corrupt Supreme Court, no blame even for Biden himself… what a distortion of time and space.

This year’s GOP ticket is a black hole of misinformation in a couch of intellectual laziness lined with a rubber glove of smarmy narcissism. Have at it, JD!
