Harris will save us $$ on Rx drugs: wow! Let’s “beat the hell out of ‘em” says Joe [1]

Biden and Harris were in Maryland this afternoon to celebrate the historic achievement for Americans on Medicare to get cheaper prescription drugs.

Joe pointed out how Republicans are in the pocket of big pharma with over $400 million spent on lobbying just last year! And Joe and Kamala emphasized how—thanks to the Inflation Reduction Act—in 2025, seniors will have their out-of-pocket costs for prescription drugs capped at $2,000 per year. As Harris said, this can be the difference between being able to pay the rent or not. Biden reminds us how Project 2025 wants to stop these lower costs. What’s our project 2025 plan, he asks? “BEAT THE HELL OUT OF THEM!” Yeah, that’s right.

VP Harris had a great way to explain the negotiations, saying it gives consumers some collective bargaining power.

And Joe said ”I served in the Senate for 270 years” to rapturous laughter.

And we aren’t stopping. Biden-Harris want every American on insulin to get savings too (not just folks on Medicare), and they want to cap out-of-pocket costs for everyone.

Biden said that the Biden-Harris team are committed to expanding savings on prescription drugs so all Americans can benefit, with legislation either in the coming months or when Kamala is POTUS. Talking to you MSM that want policy proposals.
