yesterday on Ari Melber (msnbc) a young woman working on Harris’s campaign told how, for young voters, using the internet, say on Tic Toc, by turning Kamala’s anecdotes about her mother, childhood, home life, etc., is rich food for memes that catch on and go viral. The one she described was of Kamala saying “when we were kids, my mother used to say “You kids! Did you just fall out of a coconut tree?!” and then laughing because it was so witty, nutty actually. Well, the woman and her team turned that one into a short clip of a coconut tree with youngsters tumbling out of it, laughing all the way. I’m way too old to be on Tic Toc, but wow this is brilliant and joyful. Thought all of us oldsters on KOS would like to hear about it. I’ve been in an excellent mood ever since, like “coconut tree….LOL!!”
