My Dream Convention [1]

Any convention the Democrats do in the coming days will outshine the horrible Republican convention. And it appears we have some MAJOR star power lined up.

So allow me to dream a beautiful (and completely possible) convention dream:

NIGHT ONE - “An Unabashed, Not-A-Dry-Eye-In-The-House Tribute to President Biden.”Featuring Dr. Jill, as well as Lady Gaga and the next generation of the party giving thanks to the man who saved Democracy. And an internet breaking standing ovations to Dark Brandon before and after he brings down the house.

NIGHT TWO - “SwingVoterMania! Republicans Against Trump!” Featuring, Liz Cheney, 40 Former Trump Cabinet Officials; Wrestlers who Hate Hulk Hogan + Trump; Kennedy’s who Aren’t Named Robert; Plus Springsteen, Blue Dog Bill Clinton making the final case to Moderates and Independents. Oh and a real break social media surprise appearance by W or Romney.

NIGHT THREE - “Pump Up The Base to Ridiculous Heights!” All our rock stars. young, old and literal: Shapiro, Gavin, Whitmer, Nancy, AOC, Jimmy Carter’s Grandson, and Obama talking about the need to GET OUT AND VOTE. What is left of the internet is SHATTERED and GOTV sites are flooded by a Duet between Taylor and Beyonce.

NIGHT FOUR - “Closing the Deal.” The build up is there. The table is set. Pete and Veterans for Kamala remind the country why our military needs her leadership. Walz makes the Heartland proud (and comfortable). Michelle Obama reminds women what’s at stake for them - and their daughters. And Hillary reminds us how close we came to breaking the glass ceiling and what it will mean to finally do it (or not). Then Vice President Kamala, never better, lays out her joyous, heartfelt, progressive, hopeful, inclusive (yeah, including working class white people) vision for the country.

Landslide follows.
