Lumpy Doesn't Know How He'll Vote on Florida's Ballot Initiative on Abortion [1] ['This Content Is Not Subject To Review Daily Kos Staff Prior To Publication.'] Date: 2024-08-08 At today’s press conference about nothing, Lumpy gave the ball game away. He was asked about Florida’s ballot referendum in November on Choice and whether he would vote for it. His responses were damaging to MAGA to say the least: x Q: How are you planning to vote on Florida's abortion referendum? TRUMP: Uh, I'm going to announce that. I'm gonna actually have a press conference on that at some point in the near future, so I don't want to tell you now. pic.twitter.com/mG8zlFlrkg — Aaron Rupar (@atrupar) August 8, 2024 The subdued cretin also said, “Probably the vote will go in a more liberal way than thought.” And it will be your undoing, Lumpy, because you cannot afford to lose Florida’s 30 electoral votes. Ball game and Checkmate! BALLOT INITIATIVES There are ballot initiatives on Choice in the key Swing States of Arizona, Nevada, Colorado and Florida. When Choice has been on the ballot, it has won EVERY SINGLE TIME since the orange traitor fuckpudding’s corrupt supreme court overturned Roe v. Wade. Even in red states like Kansas, Kentucky and in purplish Ohio, Choice won on the ballot in 2023. Based on that, it is my opinion that Arizona, Nevada and Colorado are basically in the bag for the presidential race. As for Florida, the 2020 vote was 48% for Biden, 51% for Trump. Combine a ballot initiative on Choice in the Sunshine State along with 90,000 Covid deaths—a majority of which were MAGA according to a peer-reviewed study published in JAMA Internal Medicine—and you get some idea of what could happen. Florida is also going to have a ballot initiative on the legalization of marijuana. I looked it up, and it’s true. Two polls have shown that it, too, has the support of 2/3rds of the people polled. If there ever was a time to take those juicy 30 electoral votes in the Sunshine State, this is it, my friends! There are a million potential voters returning to Florida colleges and universities on August 26. What a great time to start a massive voter registration drive! ROE V. WADE VOTERS WILL WIN THIS ELECTION Based upon a two-year track record of polling, I believe that Lumpy and his MAGA cohort from the supreme court down to state legislatures and conservative judges on the federal and state benches have become the dogs who caught the car. Roe v. Wade voters will win this election. The entry of VP Kamala Harris has energized Women and has turned this into a policy-based race. The news of legislation and court decisions in red states forcing minors and health-compromised Women to flee has been damaging to MAGA, as has court decisions on the Morning After Pill and in vitro fertilization, and legislation involving other types of contraceptives and the removal of incest and rape exceptions. In national races since Roe was overturned, Democrats have outperformed polling and expectations at an astounding rate. Is that why Lumpy gave up on his campaign? Is that why Putin fucked him over with the prisoner exchange? We have access to polls showing how much Florida supports Choice and Weed, but so does Lumpy and Putin. THE WORST POSSIBLE TICKET The orange traitor fuckpudding’s pick of JD Vance as his running mate before the convention was horrible. Now, it’s a complete disaster. Besides being unlikeable in a DeSantis/Scott Walker kind of way, Lumpy, Jr. is also now ½ of an all-male, all-patriarchy, all He-Man-Women-Haters-Club ticket. While the Yam was responsible for putting a corrupt supreme court together that struck down Roe v. Wade, including three nominees who swore on the Bible that Roe was “settled law,” and then bragged about it, Couch-Eyeliner had to scrub his “ban abortion” language from his campaign website. But the internet never forgets. Moreover, what Vance has had to say about no-fault divorce and child-less cat owners is like a couple sticks of stupid-dynamite blowing up in MAGA’s face. We will end up using their faux-testosterone tough-guy braggadocio against them. POLLING TRENDS Anybody watching the news has seen the Kamalamentum lately. It is astonishing. An important reason for these favorable polling trends are the Roe v. Wade voters. There are number-cruncher-bell-curve people looking at that phenomenon over to Gallup, Inc. Those folks went to a lot of trouble to put together a bunch of nice charts, but here’s the main takeaway: A record-high 32% of U.S. voters say they would only vote for a candidate for major office who shares their views on abortion. The importance of a candidate’s abortion stance to one’s vote is markedly higher among pro-choice voters than it was during the 2020 presidential election cycle, while pro-life voters’ intensity about voting on the abortion issue has waned. Another tidbit near the end of the article is especially important, as it shows the change in attitudes among the electorate: Before the [Dobbs] decision, pro-life candidates had a marginal advantage in voters prioritizing the issue in their vote choices. Since the decision, pro-choice candidates have jumped way ahead on this metric. (emphasis mine). In conclusion, we are back where we started, my fellow warriors: Please Keep Roe v. Wade on your lips. And if you get any flak, let them know that there are anywhere from 390,000 to 600,000+ foster children waiting for a home at any given time. Moreover, they can first start by feeding the hungry schoolchildren before they begin to worry about a clump of tissue. Finally, what about maternity leave? Child care? Rape? Incest? The health of the Woman? CONCLUSION This election will be decided by Roe v. Wade voters. In fact, I believe that Lumpy lost the election—at least unofficially—on June 24, 2022 when the corrupt supreme court overturned Roe. Officially, I believe we will be able to look back at 7pm (Eastern) on November 5, 2024 when the polls close in Florida. If we do the work, my friends, and Kamala and Tim keep kicking ass, this will be A ROEVEMBER TO REMEMBER!
