Gamers for Kamala [1]

Let me first say that I am not a gamer and know next to nothing about video games.

I do however know these two things 1) Democrats struggle getting support from young men — especially non-college educated young men. Many have expressed that they think we don’t like them or that we make them feel judged or looked down on. 2) Lots of young men love love love to play video games.

While some of us may have concerns about the addictive and violent nature of these games, this is not the time for this conversation. This is the time to win an election.

An obvious and explicit strategy should be to target gamers. In addition to just ads on these platforms, Harris should go to a video game convention and mention gamers explicitly in her speeches.

It is great that we are taking back the concept of “Freedom” but this has to be about lots more than abortion rights. “We believe in an America with the freedom to enjoy sports, or hunt, or play video games without being judged. We see you.”
