That’s Baxter. He was a good boy and after 2 ½ years I still miss him.

Now. When Joe Biden picked Kamala Harris as his running mate it is almost a certainty he felt she would be able to step into the presidency if needed. It would be a safe bet she is using the same criteria in selecting her VP.

That being said, as an old guy steeped in the Olde Time political wisdom, would having Pete Buttigieg as her running mate be a detriment?

I think the answer is no.

I think Pete is up to the job.

I think the voters would agree.

And if that’s the case, not only would we have a First Gentleman, but we would have another Second Gentleman.
