Got inspired by this video from Common Power. I advise watching it all the way through. The subject of it is essentially that of this diary title, but more than that it’s an introduction to this amazing organization and what makes them different — game changers, in my point of view. I hadn’t realized that they didn’t exist per so until 2016; they emerged out of TFG election fiasco so this is a really appropriate topic for them to address.

If you get bored at some point, be sure to move ahead to 24-25 minute mark as the discussion at the end is where it got really instructive for me.
