LOL: Even Russian State tv is turning on JD Vance [1]

This is more a diary of levity than substance, but there is something worthwhile in noting that Russians think Vance is unqualified for the job and that here in the US his favorability rating after being picked for the vp spot is -6 points.

Newsweek is reporting that the Russians are no longer enamored with Trump's vp pick.

In front of a screen showing Vance at a Republican rally in Michigan, Solovyov prompted laughter from his guests when he suggested the former president chose his running mate "to make sure that America prays for Trump to live." "God forbid something happens to him and his vice president steps in," Solovyov said, chuckling at the prospect of Trump not making it to the end of his term, adding: "It would not be good for anybody."

Another guest, political scientist Dmitry Drobnitsky, chimed in with his take, saying: "You don't pick this kind of a VP to get more votes."

Amazing how the Russian commentators see Vance for who he really is, while some in the US will give him a pass, soft coat or go for the both siderism crap:

Sidorov also appeared to disparage the American dream narrative portrayed by Vance as coming from a poor family to senator and then VP candidate, suggesting that the GOP ticket wants to bring the U.S. back to the conservative values of the 1950s.

Based on what I've read and heard there are a lot of gopers scratching there heads over the Vance choice.

I can't see things getting any better for Vance. I hope not, anyway.
