Apparently, The Butler Fair Grounds are closed for 90 days.

This is not surprising. It is an active crime scene. It is also in a popular tourist area, and there are bound to be rubberneckers, who would love to take a break from hiking, boating, white water rafting etc. to see where it happened.

I have been told, it may not be true, that law enforcement has found a selection of handguns and IEDs scattered around the site.

It wouldn’t surprise me. Security at the event was, surprisingly lax, and Butler County is an interesting place.

If anyone else hears anything about this, preferably from a more reliable source than my friend Bill, I’d be interested to hear about it.
