With GOP now stuck with old man Trump, let's hope this prediction by Nikki Haley comes true [1]

Former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley has bent the knee to Donald Trump and humiliated herself by endorsing the man who referred to her as a “birdbrain.”

Back in February, during the Republican primary campaign, she called Trump “unhinged” and “more diminished than he was” in 2016.

After losing the New Hampshire primary in January, Haley made this dire prediction in arguing that the GOP needed to move on from Trump with a younger candidate.

“Most Americans do not want a rematch between Biden and Trump. The first party to retire its 80-year-old candidate is going to be the party that wins this election.”

Well, the GOP had its chance to nominate a conservative 52-year-old woman of color, who is the daughter of immigrants. But there was no way the narcissist-in-chief would ever consider dropping out of the race.

Instead, they’re stuck with the 78-year-old Trump, now the oldest candidate to ever run for president in the U.S. And the GOP has to worry every time Trump delivers a speech whether he’ll make a gaffe or just rant away into incoherence about sharks and Hannibal Lecter.

But thanks to President Joe Biden’s selflessness and sense of duty to the country he has passed the torch to Vice President Kamala Harris, a 59-year-old woman of color who is the daughter of immigrants.

Let’s just hope Haley’s prediction comes true.
