Project 2025 Terrifies Me. Let me explain. [1]

Consider this a prequel to my next diary on a specific part of this conservative groupthink with specific reference to the United States Department of State.

Project 2025 is around 900 pages of deliberately boring text designed to conceal, sometimes with considerable expertise some pretty vile stuff, some of which has been discussed in the MSM. I have waded through it once superficially, and now I am going back into the details. The Heritage Foundation is not a group of MAGA cultists but a group of highly educated people, some of whom have definite nefarious intentions. I doubt very few GOP members of Congress have even read this document or even understood its consequences. I am sure some of their staff has and certainly their advisors have, some of whom may have contributed sections.

I have got to the point where I do not care what “the leaders” do to the ticket, I am voting against this pile of unconstitutional [whatever that means anymore] and antidemocratic [ditto] dross they can run a parrot for all I care.

They have laid out their intentions in a foggy crystal clear manner, why are we not up in arms [figuratively]?

Trump says he doesn't give a damn about Project 2025; if elected he doesn’t have to, he will be the only one in the US [thanks SCOTUS] that can do so.

The MAGA cult will whoop and holler until even they have some glimmering of the consequences.

It's one scary elitist conservative dream. 40+ years of Post-Reaganite thought.

Now back to this nightmare, sigh.
