Please KOS ban "Joe Must Go" Diaries at least temporarily. [1]

The underlying purpose of this site is to elect more and better democrats. The incessant postings teling our nominee to withdraw are beyond counterproductive.

Especially on this site dissent among democrats is exploitable. However Biden will not be swayed by anything posted here, so it can’t possibly be of any benefit even for people want Biden to withdraw.

These people may end up getting their way, but any such announcement of withdraw isn’t going to be hastened by their postings. Such an announcement would be timed for strategic gain, and the earliest it would come would be sometime after the repub convention had started—probably not until after it is concluded.

I would also have no problem banning diaries in favor of Biden staying in; just take the topic off the table altoghether, 2 weeks should be sufficient time. If it hasn’t happened by the Vice-Presidential debate, it won’t.
