Music of 1973 [1] ['This Content Is Not Subject To Review Daily Kos Staff Prior To Publication.'] Date: 2024-07-07 First, here is the link to the Billboard list of songs: en.wikipedia.org/… Here is the link to the Music of 1973 diary I posted here at Daily Kos on the 19th of February, 2023: www.dailykos.com/… Today I want to look at both of those links, and see if I can choose about ten songs, one from each group of ten in the Billboard ranking (100 to 91, 90 to 81, etc.), but choosing a different song than the one I chose in 2023. Number 96: Nice! Upbeat, cheerful style, with great guitar solos. Number 86: Seems like a standard party song! Ha! Number 74: Lively and fun! Number 68: He played a fancy guitar solo. He sang a little bit, as well. Ha! Number 54: This band is still touring, now, in 2024. Get your tickets! Ha! Number 47: Nice, mellow, Motown. Number 31: I posted that in the old diary. Here is why: Turn it up, right at the first, to savor that base riff. Yes! Number 26: Let me copy and paste a comment from over on YouTube: Over 50 years old and this is still simply the funkiest song ever written! Absolutely perfect. Well said. Number 16: Outstanding hard rock instrumental. Number 8: Yes! A pop tune about pop tunes! Ha! Okay, here are the links again. The billboard list of 100 songs from 1973: en.wikipedia.org/… My old diary from 2023: www.dailykos.com/… Feel free to post any songs you like in the comments. Hugs!
