Now mind, I’m heartily sick of the begging emails; but I don’t believe all the sky-is-falling stories. I plan to vote for the man in November, just like I did in May, and for every Democratic candidate available on my ballot. To shoot down Project 2025, if for no other reason. He seems to be the only one of his friends who isn’t interested in trying to date yet. They are hitting their stride for 7th grade — I hope the lot of them are still friends when the 2024-2025 school year ends. They’re twelve now — in my experience, 13 and 14 are the worst. It’s been hot, and will get hotter; but only for a few days before it goes down to a reasonable summer temperature. At least, that’s the current forecast. My daughter called me on Friday. My granddaughter went to (and, I think, worked) a Ren Faire last weekend. They think that’s where they acquired another case of COVID. I’m fully immunized and boosted at the moment, and probably won’t actually see any of the offspring till they are completely well again. But still, ….
