I was NINETEEN when I saw my first pink lines. I was young terrified, a college student, single, and had Hyperemesis Gravidarum

. I couldn't have been more terrified; I had no idea what I was capable of. I CHOSE to sacrifice everything for the unknown, CHOSE my future: my health, my safety, and any potential charts I had at the time for my future. If my boys had been girls, they'd have less rights than I did.Their choice would not exist. How can we progress when our laws are REGRESSIVE?In the legislature, I will fight for womens’ rights to autonomy. I will fight for choice, for progress.We won’t go back.Women’s rights are human rights.
