NY 16th District Primary Is Getting Interesting... [1]

The Democratic primary race between incumbent House member Jamaal Bowman and AIPAC-funded George Latimer will be decided by the end of day Tuesday, June 25. When learning about the massive injection of special interest cash into this contest, I was pretty discouraged. But Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has cranked up her formidable ground game to support Bowman, and young members of the Sunrise Movement are hitting the streets. The Bowman campaign has defined this race as the “Many vs. The Money,” a description that accurately describes the situation. This would be an earthshaking win for the Progressive movement, as the big money has gone all in for the establishment candidate.
