Got myself a 3 day timeout here. I understand why, and I thank KoS for it. My apology. [1]

Malcolm Forbes once stated that the purpose of an education is to replace an empty mind with an open one. I want to thank this site for opening my mind a little by giving me a timeout when I posted a diary that was very politically incorrect. The diary I posted channeled a bit of my inner Bill Maher when I called Trump Republicans a name that is not to be named. NOTE: I am not that great of a Maher fan, as he frequently both sides many issues that have no business being both sided, but I do like a lot of his humor, some of which got me into trouble here.

Part of my nature is that I am a somewhat politically incorrect person, but I understand now that this site has to walk a fine line in what it allows to be published. Political discourse is kind of a weird and funny thing, as someone can say what’s on his mind and, at the same time, negatively affect the reputation of the site he posts it on. Of course, that was not my intention, but I do owe the Daily KoS an apology for posting that particular diary.

Was I wrong for posting what I did? I somewhat don’t believe I was (that can be debatable) but, at the same time, this site was not wrong in removing it and giving me the timeout that I deserved.

So, going forward, I apologize for the diary I posted, and will be a better member in the future. I learned a little about Daily KoS, and I thank you for teaching me.
