Stand-In Liveblog: NYC Fraud Trial - Charging Conference [1]

Good afternoon, trial buckaroos! The portion of the trial where the prosecution and defense deal with witnesses not named Donald J. Trump is over. This afternoon will deal with the Charging Conference.

Charge conference means a meeting between a judge and the parties' lawyers, for the purpose of developing a jury charge. Such conferences are held after the parties have closed their cases and before the jury is charged. Matters to be included in jury instructions are decided during a charge conference.

It should be interesting if not handled in camera (in the judge’s chambers). I have to go to work between noon and maybe 3 but hoping to be back before then. Town Hall is a mere 7 minutes away.
