Quick update on me and mine [1]

As for me…a few weeks ago I noticed a smear of red in my underwear. Since I am about a dozen years past the point of this being expected, I immediately called my doctor. She scheduled a biopsy, the results indicated pre-cancerous cells in my uterine lining, and that’s why I’m having a hysterectomy tomorrow morning. I’m fine with this — it’s not like I was using my uterus for anything these days — and I’m sure the Double Felinoid will be thrilled out of their walnut-sized brains to have me home for the next several weeks as I recuperate.
