NASA FIRMS imagery of thermal anomalies/fires in the Kharkiv region over the last 24-hours seems to indicate that Russia's main focus is in the east along the Kupyansk Axis (pic. 1). This is logical since it would take an inordinate amount of resources and time to besiege #Kharkiv so bypassing it to the east makes a lot of sense. If they are able to succeed, I anticipate they will try to move south along a line through #VelykyiBurluk, #Kupyansk, #Izium, #Slovyansk, #Kramatorsk and ultimately connect-up somewhere near the city of Donetsk (pic. 2). This scenario entails the possibility of a second counteroffensive from the direction of Donetsk heading north. You can also imagine how they will unite with all of their various battle groups along the way from Kupyansk to Kreminna to Chasiv Yar and Avdiivka.
