Also there is limited amount of of sites that can be used for this. Considering the amount of uavs around it’s often not worth it. Positions like these would be great to be pre-prepared 10 km from the frontlines, which limited their usefulness in the current battlefield, and often by the time battlefield shifts it’s already in a neglected state. It takes time and effort to maintain it. And in a peer to peer war, you have issues with personal, everyone is always understaffed and resources are often limited.
