As Per Al Jazeera Arabic and Reuters, Hamas Has Agreed to a Ceasefire Proposal [1]

I first saw this news tweeted out by Palestinians.

CAIRO, May 6 (Reuters) - Hamas said on Monday that it had accepted a Gaza ceasefire proposal from Egypt and Qatar. The Islamist faction said in a statement that its chief, Ismail Haniyeh, had informed Qatar's prime minister and Egypt's intelligence chief of its acceptance of their proposal. There were no immediate details over what the agreement entailed.

The question is whether Netanyahu and Israel will accept.

Note: I don’t normally post such breaking news stories but thought I needed to share this even if the diary is sparse and tweet heavy. It deserves a record.

We do need confirmation from Egypt though.
