The election won't matter [1]

I have rarely been as frightened as I am right now, because the election won’t matter. Biden will win, but it won’t make a difference.

Heather Cox Richardson wrote yesterday, quoting Washington Week: “Trump has decided that he doesn’t want money to go to Ukraine… It's really an extraordinary moment; we have an out-of-power ex-president who is in effect dictating American foreign policy on behalf of a foreign dictator or with the interests of a foreign dictator in mind.”

She goes on to note that Richard Grenell, an extremist and Trump supporter who was TFG’s acting director of national intelligence, has been going around the world meeting with right-wing leaders, “acting as a kind of shadow secretary of state . . . pledging Trump’s support and, at times, working against the current administration’s policies.”

Do you see what’s coming? If Trump wins (he won’t) he will immediately shut down aid to Ukraine. Russia will win its filthy war quickly, Zelenskyy will be executed publicly, millions of Ukrainians will be slaughtered, and then Putin will start his march into Europe, backed up by his right-wing sycophants including Trump, who may even send troops to help him.

He will wipe his hands of Gaza, allowing Netanyahu to wipe out Gazans to the last man, woman, and child. The Middle East will ignite.

His bully boys here at home will turn out en masse to start their murderous rampage against us hated liberals, immigrants, and Blacks, women will be expendable (more than we are now), and violence will replace the rule of law. There will be no legal recourse because he has corrupted the justice system.

If Trump loses (he will) exactly the same thing will happen. I see no way out now except to become one of those “nuts” who owns guns and stockpiles food. TRUMP IS PLANNING ANOTHER COUP, AND HE’S DOING IT IN FRONT OF OUR EYES.

We’re not NEARLY ready, nor do we see the extent of the threat. The world is going to burn thanks to the maniacal delusions of a handful of madmen.

Tell me I’m wrong.
